The Massachusetts Canine Response Team (MACRT) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit that utilizes specially trained and nationally certified K9s to locate missing persons alive or deceased.

Welcome to the Massachusetts Canine Response Team

Founded in 1998, MACRT is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to search and rescue operations with highly trained canines. We are members of the Massachusetts Search and Rescue Dog Federation (MASSARDF). The team consists of numerous dedicated handlers and their skilled canines.

MACRT specializes in training dogs for human remains detection and live-find area searches, ensuring our team is always prepared to assist in critical search and rescue operations.
